What can I expect from a Flare Youth workshop?
Every Flare Youth session includes high-energy games, creative team tasks, confidence-boosting activities, and reflective moments. We might explore big themes like decision-making, fairness, or identity — but we do it in a way that feels playful and empowering, not like school. Our 3-day courses culminate in a creative project, designed to empower the participants and leave them feeling proud of their achievements.
-
Is Flare Youth just for kids who like acting?
Not at all! While we use drama-based activities, Flare isn’t about putting on a play or learning lines. It’s about helping young people develop real-life skills like teamwork, leadership, critical thinking and self-expression — all in a fun, supportive environment. Whether your child is loud and confident or quieter and thoughtful, Flare Youth is definitely for them.
-
Do I need to book for the entire course?
Yes — when a course runs over multiple days, we strongly recommend attending for the full duration. Each day is carefully designed to build on the last, so your child gets the most out of the experience. We’re unable to offer discounts for partial attendance, as places are limited and the full course structure is key to its impact.
-
Is Flare Youth accessible for children with additional needs?
We’re committed to making Flare accessible to all. If your child has specific needs, just let us know when booking — we’ll work with you to make sure they feel supported and included.
-
What should my child bring?
Just comfy clothes they can move around in, a packed lunch, water bottle, and a willingness to get stuck in! We provide everything else.

Who runs the sessions?
When not run by Danni and Ollie, all our sessions are led by professional facilitators with years of experience working in theatre, education, and youth development. They are trained to create a safe and inspiring environment for all participants.
